Actually, no, I made my way to Memorial Park as it appears to be the closest wooded area to the River Oaks Crown Plaza I was staying in. I needed to find some off road terrain to accomplish a challenge I had been given, during which I thought of you often actually. The challenge was to walk 1 mile barefoot off road, just to do it. I drove to Memorial Park with intention to walk on what appeared to be trails and started my stroll at about 5:15am. By light of cell phone (flashlight app) I picked my way around picnic areas into and out of semi-trails for 45 minutes assuming that equated to at least a mile of distance covered. It was quite an adventure actually and of course I thought of you for many reasons some of which I will list here: Vibrams are close to barefoot, I was in Houston, I saw some cyclists, the Astro's are all the rage, spiders are friendlier than scorpions and etc.
When I read “did some exercising in Memorial Park,” I expect to also read “ran 2.9 miles around the Memorial Park running loop.” No?
