• Proud of myself for getting up early enough to do this -- didn't feel like running hard, didn't wake up early enough to run far.   Humidity is always surprising to me, which in itself is surprising to me considering that I grew up in it...being rained on basically has zero affect when it is as humid as it is.

• Just a streak extender, but felt really good in the new shoes, definitely think the old ones were beating up my legs -- actually rained slightly while I was running tonight, very strange.  

Day 69

• Felt hard, but not brutal, easier to average fastish pace on treadmill -- burned 670 calories and climbed 140+ feet, whatever, I used the treadmill because it was raining pretty hard...as soon as I got home Becca went running in the rain just to make me feel like a wuss.

• Couldn't get out of the hotel bed in Holiday Inn near JFK -- not because the bed was overly comfortable, just because I was beat...the walk home the night before in horrid rain didn't help.   Bec had both boys down for the night by the time I got home so we alternated runs, which was cool.  The Streak goes on.

• Rain and strong wind made the run more difficult, but I felt fine, glad to not be sick as I feared I was getting.
