PUSH UP DAY 88

245 Push ups

  • 8 Sets
    • 40 standard then sixty seconds rest
    • 50 then sixty seconds rest
    • 25 sixty seconds rest
    • 25 three hundred thirty seconds rest
    • 55 as fast as possible...probably to the detriment of form, sixty seconds rest
    • 15 on fists as punishment for poor form -- then perhaps 20 minutes rest
    • 10 dynamic (meaning a standard push up into a stand up jump), then a few minutes rest
    • 25 standard

Cumulative total:    7419 -- this seems like a tremendous volume of push ups to me.   I feel I should be better than I am after that many, though I am pleased enough with progress for now.   10,000 seems like a point at which I should maybe be a master of them, based on the 10,000 hour theory populated by Malcolm Gladwell...or maybe I need to do 10,000 HOURS of push ups, which will take a long long time.
